The Association was established with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a self-regulating, non-profit organization based on voluntary membership. 

The Association united seven largest medical universities of Kazakhstan:

  • JSC "Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov"
  • JSC "Medical University of Karaganda"
  • JSC "Astana Medical University"
  • JSC "West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov"
  • JSC "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy."
  • Kazakhstan's Medical University KSPH
  • JSC "Semey Medical University."

The main objectives of the Association:

  • Improving the quality of medical education and research
  • Innovative development of healthcare
  • Raising the status of a medical worker

The main activities of the Association:

  • enhancing the quality of medical education and medical care;
  • participation in the development and implementation of concepts, projects, programs of international and national importance that contribute to the improvement and development of the healthcare industry, ensuring the protection of citizens' health;
  • assistance in the implementation of state policy in the field of medical education;
  • preparation of recommendations for improving regulatory legal acts regulating the activities of healthcare entities.
